The north end view of Kiholo Bay looking back at Mt. Hualalai.

The fresh water springs dump into the ocean right here so it creates a incredible lagoon with very clear freshwater on top and salt water underneath. This is what gives the water the strange look. It's also VERY cold. It's very common to see sea turtles in this area.

And my aim in my life is to make pictures and drawings, as many and as well as I can; then, at the end of my life, I hope to pass away, looking back with love and tender regret, and thinking, 'Oh, the pictures I might have made.'.

yes it really is an amazing place. from where my camera was set up you can dive in. The fresh water sits on top and it's very cold but it's a trip to swim here.
:iconwafox:
You should so see it in person! You can jump right in if you don't mind swimming with the turtles and the warmer ocean salt water keeps your feet warm while your upper body feels like a frozen Popsicle. It's only a good 45 min hike or so so your always nice and hot when you get here!

I did not even push it - just added a bit of saturation in the RAW conversion. These ocean lagoons are neat.

Mother Nature deserves the credit for the colors. :) Thanks for the comments.
